This version runs on the new E-Hype3 model, which is still under development. So please have patience and be careful when viewing the data.
All data have been calculated with the E-HYPE hydrological model. The coloured lines in this map depict flow conditions as a percentile, which is computed from the period of data for the current day of the year. A percentile is a value on a scale of one hundred that indicates the percent of a distribution that is equal to or below it. For example, on the map of daily flow conditions a river discharge at the 90th percentile is equal to or greater than 90 percent of the discharge values calculated on this day of the year during all years in the model simulation. In general,
Please note that river reaches with a daily flow in the normal range are not coloured but depicted as black lines in the map.
The accuracy of these flow calculations differ in space and time depending on many factors. Flow calculations have been evaluated against measurements in places where data have been openly available, see model performance
